For Dynamite's Damsels series, a story turning the princesses and damsels in distress of the classic fairy tales into the heroes of their own stories  (with a bit of a dark twist and targeted for tween girls), I wanted a logo that had a fairy tale book feel, but with some aging and texture to it. To bring it together, I added a frame of thorns and briers, something that was a common threat or prison in so many of these characters' original tales.

 

Also included below are my logos for the two spin-off titles.
