VAMPIRELLA 50TH ANNIVERSARY 2019 POSTER CALENDAR

This 24.5" high x 12" wide, 12-month, spiral-bound, poster wall calendar was designed so that each of its twelve, single-sided sheets of durable, card stock pages, featured a ready-to-frame, perforated, 20" h x 18" w poster by one of Vampirella's greatest artists from across her five decades of publications. For this project, I created the template, chose the artists that best represented the character's past and present, found the right overseas printer and materials for the project, and art directed designer Cathleen Heard, who did a fantastic job on the final product.

 

12" x 12" CALENDARS

Starting in 2014, I was tasked with art directing and project managing Dynamite's standard, 12"h x 12" w calendars. Producing 2-3 most years, it was my responsibility to choose the art for each, providing 14-18 images per calendar to freelance designer Rodolfo Muraguchi, to art direct, proof (along with one of the in-house editors), and to be the point person for choosing the overseas printer and materials.
