Written by Oscar-winning writer/director Quentin Tarantino and Eisner-winning writer/artist Matt Wagner, Dynamite and DC/Vertigo's Django/Zorro is the official sequel to the film Django Unchained. For the dust jacket design, I wanted something that was reminiscent of the movie poster and graphic novel adaptation of the film, so I combined images by artists Jae Lee and Francesco Francavilla to create this final image. For the cover underneath the jacket, I wanted something big and bold, like a Tarantino movie title card. For the interiors, I wanted to show the characters bonded together as a team by layering together imagery of them in name, silhouette, and full image.
