For Dynamite's 2009 Sherlock Holmes series, I wanted something clean and classic, avoiding the common clichés of magnifying glasses, deerstalker hats and other graphic elements. As this first series was about Sherlock being the key suspect in a murder and facing enemies on all sides, I wanted the logo to also be a slightly claustrophobic.
COVERS:
Cover shown for my design to Dynamite's first Sherlock Holmes graphic novel, which was then used as the guideline for the rest of the series. I felt that a unified book dress on this series was especially important to identify our books since Sherlock Holmes is a public domain character, and there are so many other books and series available in stores.
