In 2017, Dynamite released its Undisputed Street Fighter retrospective. In addition to project managing and handling all communications with the printer for scheduling, printing, and materials on this title, I also came up with the concept for the design of the deluxe, slipcase edition that designer Jason Adam and the printer did a beautiful job of bringing to life. My idea was for the book and slipcase to combine to create the illusion of a Street Fighter arcade cabinet. To accomplish this, I worked with Jason and PrintPlus on a die-cut, high-gloss slipcase featuring the art of the game cabinet, with the book inside showcasing the title in a way that would be reminiscent of the title screen of the game. This 3D effect made for a unique package. Additionally, to make this stand out from our Art of Atari, I wanted to include a papercraft item, along with several, fame-able art prints, all collected in a specially printed portfolio that would fit inside the slipcase with the book.
